Aim:
Everyone has the ability to self-motivate. The key is to know what motivates you and how to trigger it at will. This course explores the subject of motivation, how motivational triggers vary depending on the individual, how to discover your own personal motivation strategy and how to motivate others.
The course embraces theories of motivation as well as exploring the connection between motivation and personal time/energy management. Delegates will create their own personal motivation strategy that can be used as a template to fire up feelings of motivation at will.

The psychology behind motivation – tried and tested theories including Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs and how to turn each element into daily reality
How different motivators work for different people; why some are motivated by the promise of a reward whilst others are left cold by the same promise
The power of personal values to motivate
Setting motivational goals
Motivating others by understanding their personal motivation triggers and how to replicate them in the workplace
Defining your unique motivation strategy and applying it to personal and business situations
Maintaining motivation and overcoming barriers in the face of obstacles and challenges
